Location: End of East 9th Street Pier Cleveland, OH Latitude: N 41° 30.62’ Longitude: W 081° 41.83’ Waterbody: Lake Erie Access Site Type: Scenic Environments: Manmade Shore Monitoring: - Research: - Grants: -	The North Coast Harbor, East Ninth Street Pier and Voinovich Bicentennial Park areas are east and north of Erieside Avenue, three-quarter mile east of the Cuyahoga River mouth in downtown Cleveland. The majority of the park’s land is fill material artificially placed in Lake Erie. The public walkway surrounding these areas includes a more than a mile of manmade shore. The 4.5-acre Voinovich Bicentennial Park is at the north end of the East Ninth Street Pier, along the pier’s west side. Voinovich Park’s center is a large, artistically-terraced green space which is surrounded by impervious surface areas. The park’s southwest corner has a concrete stage. Fishing is permitted in designated areas. Voinovich Bicentennial Park hosts a variety of festivals and events during summer months, some of which require admission fees.
