The 15.9-acre Mazurik Access Area is located on the north side of Marblehead Peninsula just west of Lakeside. This site provides boaters and anglers direct access to Lake Erie by offering a four-lane concrete boat ramp, a protected boat bay/safe harbor, and a handicap-accessible fishing pier. Smallmouth bass, walleye, white bass and yellow perch are common fish species caught at Mazurik and in Lake Erie.

By boat, Mazurik Access is just 7-miles south of South Bass Island. The access parking area has 215 car-and-trailer spaces and 40 car-only spaces. The lot is paved and lighted and accessible 24 hours a day. Other amenities at this access area are limited, but include restrooms, a paved trail and a small beach composed of large cobble and shell fragments.
