YOUTH TRAPPING WORKSHOP OFFERED

OAK HILL, OH – There is still time to register youth and new trappers interested in participating in a trapping workshop to be held October 31 and November 1 at Cooper Hollow Wildlife Area in Jackson County.  This workshop is hosted by the Ohio State Trappers Association (OSTA) and the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) Division of Wildlife.

The workshop will consist of hands-on demonstrations and discussion of several aspects of trapping and include speakers from OSTA as well as Division of Wildlife personnel and Wildlife Officers.

The workshop will take place at Cooper Hollow Wildlife Area Headquarters, located at 5403 C.H. & D. Road in Oak Hill.  Classes will begin at 8:00am on Saturday, October 31 and end at 4:00pm.  Class will resume on Sunday, November 1 at 8:00am and commence at 1:00pm.  Lunch will be provided by OSTA on both days.
