Projects Wild & Learning Tree Combined Workshop Open To Educators
CHESTERLAND, OH – Westwood Elementary School and West Geauga High School opens their doors to both formal and non-formal educators for a Project WILD/Project Learning Tree workshop on Tuesday, May 12th from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Teachers, youth group leaders, naturalists, and others will find this workshop both exciting and informative.
A fun and educational day is planned, packed with activities and lessons that educators can use in their classrooms and/or programs. These activities and lessons are also correlated to Ohio’s academic content standards.
Project WILD guides, Aquatic WILD guides and other related information will be distributed at no charge. PLT guides will be distributed to participants for a cost of $22 to $30.
These popular, international, education programs combine conservation and environmental education focusing on wildlife and forestry. The curriculums are designed for classrooms of all grade levels, youth groups, nature centers, and other educational outlets.
