WILDLIFE OFFICER JEFF COLLINGWOOD PROMOTED
FINDLAY, OH – Wildlife Officer Jeff Collingwood has recently been promoted to
Wildlife Investigator according to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR)
Division of Wildlife.
Officer Collingwood began his duties as an investigator on June 7, 2009. His area
of responsibility will include Allen, Crawford, Erie, Hardin, Huron, Ottawa, Richland,
Sandusky, Seneca and Wyandot Counties.
“I am looking forward to Officer Collingwood joining our investigations team.
Jeff is held in high esteem as an officer and will step into the Wildlife Investigator
position very smoothly”, according to Wildlife District Two Law Enforcement
Supervisor Paul Kurfis.
A native of Northwest Ohio, Officer Collingwood graduated from McComb
High School in 1985. He received an Associates degree in Recreation and Wildlife
Management from Hocking College in 1987 and graduated from the 88th Basic Police
Officer Class at the Ohio State Highway Patrol Academy in 1996. He was assigned to
Putnam County in 1996 and transferred to Huron County in 2000. Collingwood is
married and has two children.
