Spaces Still Available for Educator Workshop in Geauga County
Workshop to be held at Westwood Elementary and West Geauga High schools

CHESTERLAND, OH – Participants can still register for a May 12th educational workshop combining Projects WILD and Learning Tree (PLT) as well as WILD School Sites. Teachers, youth group leaders, naturalists, and others will find this workshop both exciting and informative. The workshop will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Westwood Elementary and West Geauga High School.

A fun and educational day is planned, packed with activities and lessons that educators can use in their classrooms and/or programs.  These activities and lessons are also correlated to Ohio’s academic content standards. Lunch will be provided.

Project WILD guides, Aquatic WILD guides and other related information will be distributed at no charge. PLT guides will be distributed to participants for a cost of $22 to $30.

These popular, international, education programs combine conservation and environmental education focusing on wildlife and forestry. The curriculums are designed for classrooms of all grade levels, youth groups, nature centers, and other educational outlets.
