New Wildlife Officer Assigned to Preble County
Xenia, OH –State Wildlife Officer Bradley turner began his assignment to Preble County effective June 21, 2009 according to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) Division of Wildlife.
Turner is a graduate of the 2007 Wildlife Officer academy. He is the former Scioto County officer in southeast Ohio. Officer Turner received an associates degree in fish and wildlife management from Hocking College in 2003. Before being hired as a state wildlife officer, Turner worked at the Division of Wildlife’s Waterloo Research Station and the Urbana Propagation Unit. Turner also worked as a biologist for Pheasants Forever.
As a state wildlife officer, Turner will be responsible for enforcing wildlife laws on public lands as well as private lands and providing assistance to other law enforcement agencies as needed. He will also assist other Division of Wildlife professionals in a variety of projects as assigned and continue to receive additional resource training during his career.
"I am very excited to be working for the Ohio Division of Wildlife as a wildlife officer in Preble County,” said Turner.
