CONTROLLED WATERFOWL HUNTS AT KILLDEER PLAINS WILDLIFE AREA

            FINDLAY, OH - Changes have been made to the controlled waterfowl hunt permit at Killdeer Plains Wildlife Area.  This year, a morning drawing will be held at 5:15 am (6:15 am during the second split) at Killdeer Plains Wildlife Area Check Station.  Any remaining permits will be available through the self serve system.  This year, all permits will be valid for the entire hunt day except for units located in pond 27 where they will be valid until noon.  Pond 27 units will only be hunted on Wednesdays and Saturdays.  Hunt days will be every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday during the waterfowl seasons as well as both Saturday and Sunday of the statewide youth season. 

There will be no controlled waterfowl hunts during the week of Deer Gun season.
