New Wildlife Officer Assigned to Cuyahoga County

Hollie Fluharty, new Cuyahoga Co. Wildlife OfficerAKRON, OH – Hollie J. Fluharty, 22, of McConnelsville, Ohio has been assigned as the new Cuyahoga County wildlife officer according to the ODNR Division of Wildlife. Former Cuyahoga County wildlife officer Jason Hadsell transferred to Ashtabula County in October. 

“Hollie is an enthusiastic young wildlife officer who is ready to tackle the challenging and diverse wildlife issues in Cuyahoga County,” said District Three Manager Jeff Herrick.

Fluharty is a 2005 graduate of Morgan High School in Morgan County. In 2007, she received an Associate’s Degree in wildlife and fisheries resources from Hocking College. Fluharty transferred from District One in central Ohio where she served as an At-Large Wildlife Officer immediately following her July 2009 graduation from the Wildlife Officer Cadet academy.
