MILLERSBURG, OH – The Millersburg Fire Department will not be an official deer check station during 2010-2011 season. This change is not included in the 2010-2011 Hunting and Trapping Digest.

In the past, Division of Wildlife biologists have collected valuable age-related data while officially checking deer during the statewide gun season. The Aging Station will now be operated at Moore’s Lawn and Garden located at 1682 South Washington Street in Millersburg. Division biologists will age deer only on Monday, Tuesday, and Saturday during shotgun season. Otherwise, deer can be checked at Moore’s M-F 8am-8pm and Saturday 8am-4pm (hours are subject to change).
