MAGEE MARSH WILDLIFE AREA TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE

OAK HARBOR, OH - In order to provide a quality waterfowl hunting experience at Magee Marsh Wildlife Area, access to the wildlife area road from the Sportsmen’s Migratory Bird Center parking lot to the Magee Marsh beach area and boardwalk will be closed. This section of the wildlife area road and all trails beyond will be closed from sunset October 11, 2010 through 12:00 noon on November 13, 2010 and November 20, 2010 through December 3, 2010. Additionally, the wildlife area road and trails will be closed during the Controlled Youth Deer hunts scheduled on Saturday & Sunday November 20 and 21, 2010. The remaining Saturdays and Sundays during this time period hunters, anglers and wildlife viewers will be permitted access to the beach area and wildlife trails on Saturdays from 12:00 noon until sunset and on Sundays from sunrise to sunset.
