YOUTH PHEASANT HUNTING OPPORTUNITY
Darke County PF’s 9th Annual Youth Hunt
HOUSTON, OH – Pheasants Forever Chapter #675 of Darke County will once again hold a youth pheasant hunt complete with guides and hunting dogs on Saturday October 23, 2010. The hunt will take place at the Shelby County farm of Rob and Anne Klamar, 5252 Stoker Rd., Houston, Ohio 45333.
Youth ages 12-16 may participate. Youth hunters must pre-register by calling Doug Hesson(937) 548-7284 or Jim McClurg, (419) 336-1019. You may also register by mail. Applications and instructions can be downloaded at the Darke County PF website:

Registration deadline is October 16, 2010. The first 60 youth registered are guaranteed hunts. The club will continue to make accommodations for other youth hunters on a first come first serve basis.
Youth hunters must have successfully completed the ODNR Division of Wildlife’s Hunter Safety course prior to the hunt and have a valid Ohio hunting license. All youth must be accompanied by a non-hunting adult. Participants are required to wear hunter orange.
