New Wildlife Officer Assigned to Summit County
Akron, OH – Former At-LargeWildlife Officer Brennan Earick, 26, was recently assigned as the new Summit County Wildlife Officer, according to the ODNR Division of Wildlife. Wildlife Officer Earick’s new assignment follows former Summit County Wildlife Officer Jason Warren’s transfer to Wayne County.
“Brennan is a young and enthusiastic wildlife officer who will do well in Summit County in all aspects of wildlife-related programs, while enforcing fish and wildlife regulations to conserve Ohio’s wildlife resources,” said Doug Miller, district manager for Division of Wildlife in northeast Ohio.
“I am thrilled to serve the citizens of Ohio as a wildlife officer,” explained Earick. “This is simply a dream come true and I will work hard to serve residents of Summit County to the best of my ability,” noted Earick.
Earick is a 2005 graduate of Hillsdale High School in Ashland County. He received degrees from The Ohio State University’s Agricultural Technical Institutes (2006) in environmental resources science and from HockingCollege in 2008 in wildlife management. Before becoming a state wildlife officer, Earick worked an internship in the southeast Ohio wildlife district office.
Wildlife Officer Earick can be reached by calling Wildlife District Three in Akron at (330) 245-3042.
