YOUTH HUNTER APPRECIATION DAY
Whitetails Unlimited to sponsor youth event November 21
HILLSBORO, OH – Highland County Deer Hunters, a Whitetails Unlimited (WTU) Chapter will hold a youth hunter appreciation day complete with lunch, prizes and activities on Sunday November 21, 2010 from 11a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Holtfield Station, 620 S High St., Hillsboro, Ohio 45133-1433.
All youth deer hunters that check in deer on Saturday, November 20 or Sunday, November 21, 2010 at either Holtfield Station or the Old Trading Post, 1999 St. Rt. 73, Hillsboro, are eligible to be entered into a general prize drawing and a Big Buck drawing. Deer must be checked in before 11am on Sunday, November 21. Youth must be present to win.
General prizes will be awarded to the first three youth drawn. First prize is a Mossberg youth shotgun, second place receives a tree stand donated by the Old Trading Post and the third place winner will take home a Luck Buck Mineral by Billy McClain. One Big Buck winner will also be drawn. The winner will receive a free shoulder mount donated by Rick Roberts of Carlisle Taxidermy.
Hungry young hunters will be served a free lunch and have the opportunity to shoot archery and watch a field dressing demonstration.
Founded in 1982, WTU is a national non-profit conservation organization that has dedicated its resources to the betterment of the white-tailed deer and its environment.
