Training Workshop for Ohio Hunter Education Instructors
 To Be Held At Wildlife District Three In Akron
 
AKRON, OH – A workshop aimed at training hunter education instructors is scheduled for March 26-27 in Akron according to the Ohio Division of Wildlife.
    The workshop will be held at the Wildlife District Three Office located at 912 Portage Lakes Drive in Akron from 8 a.m.-5 p.m..  Those interested in attending must register by calling 1-800-WILDLIFE.
    Individuals must be at least 18 years of age and must complete a volunteer instructor-training workshop in order to become a certified hunter education instructor. Currently, Ohio has over 1,600 volunteer instructors who train hunters, especially young hunters, to be safe and responsible in the field.
