AKRON, OH – Former Cuyahoga County Wildlife Officer Hollie J. Fluharty, 23, has been assigned as the new Trumbull County Wildlife Officer according to the ODNR Division of Wildlife. Former Trumbull County Wildlife Officer Jerrod Allison transferred to Coshocton County.
“Hollie is an enthusiastic young wildlife officer who is ready to build a respectful and comfortable rapport with the citizens of Trumbull County,” said District Three Manager Doug Miller.
Fluharty is a 2005 graduate of Morgan High School in Morgan County. In 2007, she received an Associate’s Degree in wildlife and fisheries resources from Hocking College. Fluharty began her career with the Division of Wildlife in central Ohio where she served as an At-Large Wildlife Officer immediately following her July 2009 graduation from the Wildlife Officer Cadet academy. In January 2010, she transferred to Cuyahoga County.
