Workshop Available To Educators on May 21st
Villa Maria Education and Spirituality Center to host workshop-
just 15 minutes each of Youngstown  
 

YOUNGSTOWN, OH – Both formal and non-formal educators, Vacation Bible School teachers and summer cay camp counselors who work with children grades PreK - 2 are invited to attend a Growing Up WILD workshop in on Saturday, May 21, 2011. The workshop will be held at the Villa Maria Education and Spirituality Center (http://vmesc.org/directions.html) Entrance #3 at Villa Maria, PA. 16155 (one mile from the Ohio State border and south on Evergreen Road) from 9:00am-12:00 noon.

Growing Up WILD is an award-winning early childhood education program that builds on children’s sense of wonder about nature and invites them to explore wildlife and the world around them. Through a wide range of activities and experiences Growing Up WILD provides an early foundation for developing positive impressions about nature and lifelong social and academic skills.   Refer to Growing Up WILD for more information.

There is a $4.00 workshop fee. Beverages and snacks will be provided. Registration is required by calling the Maria Education and Spirituality Center at (724) 064-8920 x 3387 or (724) 964-8886. The Growing Up WILD guidebooks are provided to participants free of charge thanks to donations to the Ohio Division of Wildlife.
