LUCAS COUNTY PEREGRINE FALCONS TO BE BANDED
FINDLAY, OH -- The Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR), Division of Wildlife will be banding peregrine falcon chicks from the University of Toledo on Thursday May 19, 2011. Anyone interested may meet with Division of Wildlife biologists on site.
The University of Toledo is located at 2801 Bancroft Street. Meet at the Bell
Tower at 2:00 PM on the mall side. Inclement weather may delay or cancel the banding. For additional information contact the Wildlife District Two Office at 419.424.5000.
Ohio’s peregrine falcon program is supported by the state income tax check-off, donations to the Wildlife Diversity and Endangered Species Fund, and sales of the cardinal license plate. License plates may be purchased from local deputy registrars or by calling 1-888-PLATES3.
