Business hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Permits may also be requested by mail or telephone at (614) 644-3925. No permits will be issued after beaver trapping season opens on December 26.

Beaver trapping season begins statewide on December 26, 2007 and ends February 29, 2008.
All permittees and their family members are required to have an Ohio hunting license and fur taker permit in addition to the special beaver trapping permit. For more information on trapping regulations in Ohio, refer to the 2007-2008 Ohio Hunting & Trapping Regulations.
