Pheasants Released for Additional Opportunity at Killdeer Plains

 
FINDLAY, OH – Approximately 280 ring-necked pheasants were released on Killdeer Plains Wildlife Area in northwest Ohio according to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) Division of Wildlife. 
 
The pheasants were released on the evening of December 14th (after shooting hours) to provide additional hunting opportunities at this popular wildlife area. 
 
Pheasant hunting season opened Friday, November 4th and remains open through January 8th, 2012, with a daily bag limit of two rooster (male) birds. Statewide hunting hours are sunrise to sunset.
