WIlDLIDFE OFFICER DODGE ASSIGNED TO ATHENS COUNTY
ATHENS, OH – Wildlife Officer christopher Dodge, 22,of Mt. Sterling, Ohio has been assigned to Athens County, according to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) Division of Wildlife.
Dodge is a graduate of the 2007 Wildlife Officer Academy, and has been assigned as an at-large officer in southeast Ohio since July.
Chris is a graduate of Madison Plains High School and has received associates degrees in fish and wildlife management and forest management from Hocking College. Before being hired as a state wildlife officer, Dodge worked at Deer Creek State Park and at the Division of Wildlife's Deer Creek Wildlife Area.
As a state wildlife officer, Dodge is responsible for enforcing wildlife laws on public lands as well as private lands and providing assistance to other law enforcement agencies as needed. He will also assist other Division of Wildlife professionals in a variety of projects.
