Xenia, OH – A nine-target archery range is now open to the public at the Wildlife District Five Headquarters, 1076 Old Springfield Pike, in Xenia, according to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) Division of Wildlife.

This unmanned facility features dual ranges at 10, 20, 30, and 40 yards as well as one 50 yard range. The range will offer archers a place to practice for hunting or recreational shooting. The Division used Morrell’s bag targets on the ranges and also installed bow hangers.

The range will be open from dawn to dusk, seven days a week and is free of charge.  No permit is required.  Broadheads are not allowed to be used on the range.  A complete list of rules is posted at the range. These rules apply to anyone using the range. Archers should park at the upper end of the range.  The parking lot is still under construction and the public is asked to avoid parking on the grass in wet conditions
