Canton Man Found Guilty of Selling Wild Animals
CANTON, OH – A Canton man has been found guilty for selling wild animals according to the ODNR Division of Wildlife.
Walter Dotson, Jr., 38, of Canton, was found guilty on October 8th, 2008 in Canton Municipal Court for selling sport-caught white bass and crappie from Berlin Reservoir.
Dotson was ordered to pay $434 in fines, restitution, and court cost. A 30-day jail sentence was suspended, pending no violations in the next two years. Dotson’s fishing privileges were also revoked for one year.
