Portage County Check Station Closed Until April
Rootstown, OH – BP Archery, located at 4039 State Route 14 in Rootstown, will be closed until April 1, 2009. Hunters should consult the 2008-2009 Hunting Digest, visit www.wildohio.com, or call 1-800-WILDLIFE for other check stations in Portage County.
BP Archery will open again in time to check spring turkey. The Spring youth wild turkey season runs April 18-19, 2009 and the statewide Spring wild turkey season runs April 20- May 17, 2009.
