Contact Geologic Records Center, 614-265-6576. "Geofacts" and leaflets covering a wide variety of subjects (from earthquakes to flint to topography) for schools. Page-sized maps showing different aspects of the state's geology and geography: bedrock formations, glacial deposits, oil and gas fields, pipe-lines, topography. Sets of 10 Ohio rock and mineral samples for classroom use to help identify the state's economically valuable mineral deposits. An instruction sheet, description of the minerals, and their localities is enclosed with each set. Also available: leaflets, posters, brochures, books, videos. |
