Advanced Project WILD Workshops
Registration is Now Open for
Vernalpalooza-A Celebration and Exploration of Ohio's Vernal Pools
February 29-March 2, 2012 at Shawnee State Park Lodge
Come learn about the fascinating world of vernal pools. You'll experience the critters, plant life and general biology of Ohio vernal pools through expert speakers and field trips to high quality pools in Southern Ohio. You can even learn how to install one of these unique and critical habitats on your school grounds. Registration is now open! Print off and mail in registration with payment of $125, which includes meals, lodging and materials. Graduate credit from Shawnee State University is pending. 31st Annual Project WILD, Aquatic WILD and Growing Up WILD Facilitator Training
March 28-29, 2012 at Mohican State Park Lodge
If you're interested in becoming a volunteer Project WILD Facilitator, please print off and mail in the registration form with a payment of $90. You'll join a network of over 350 volunteers that help the Division of Wildlife conduct high-quality professional development opportunities for Ohio's educators in environmental and conservation education. If you regularly work with Pre-K thru post-graduate educators and have an interest in wildlife and the environment, we'd love to have you join our team. The registration fee covers your meals, lodging and all of your materials.
