PreK - 8 Activity Guide
The PLT Environmental Education Activity Guide has nearly 100 interdisciplinary activity lessons on a wide array of environmental topics and are presented in an unbiased manner. It is available in a 6-hr. minimum workshop format for educators, both formal and informal. The workshop cost per participant is *$22.00.

Workshops are presented at various sites throughout the state or can be arranged at your site. The PLT materials are correlated to the Academic Science Content Standards, the National Science, and National Social Studies Standards, as well as the Girl Scout badges and programs. The lessons in the guide are adaptable and readily used as well by high school educators.

Secondary Modules
The PLT Secondary Thematic Modules are available by attending a 3 hr. minimum workshop. The workshop cost per participant is *$15.00. The modules follow a specific environmental theme (Issues: Focus on Forest, Forest Ecology, Municipal Solid Waste, Environmental Risk, and Places We Live) and are geared for 9th — 12th grades but are easily adapted and readily used for the middle school age as well.

Once one attends a module workshop and learns the process and content of that module, additional theme modules (one of each module per workshop participant) are available through the Project Learning Tree — Ohio business office.

Facilitator/Leadership
A PLT Facilitator is an educator, resource professional or individual interested in environmental education and willing as a volunteer to hold PreK-8 and/or Secondary Module workshops in their community as a representative of PLT-Ohio. To become a facilitator one must attend a Leadership workshop. The workshop cost per participant is *$50.00, which includes your lodging, meals, and materials.

PLT Leadership workshop participants receive PLT materials and learn how to present local workshops for both the PreK-8 PLT guide, as well as the Secondary Modules. They also have access to additional/future modules at a nominal cost. This network of PLT volunteer facilitators provides the backbone to Project Learning Tree workshops throughout Ohio.

Advanced Workshop
The Advanced Workshops are held periodically for only those people who previously attended a PLT workshop. These workshops update participants on PLT in Ohio, provide in-depth learning experiences and resources on special interest environmental topics. In the past these have included: Ohio Forest Products, Solid Waste, Forest Ecology and History of the Forests. Cost will vary.

A person interested in participating in a workshop can preview upcoming workshops at www.plt.org or www.ohioforest.org. If a group, such as a school, youth organization, etc. would like to schedule a workshop for staff development and is in need of facilitators to present the workshop, please contact the PLT-Ohio business office.
