Globe Norway Maple - Acer platanoides 'Globosum'
Columbus Planted: 1953
2917 East Moorland Dr. Site: Homeowner's Lawn

1971 Comments:
There is considerable dieback on all trees and no cause has been diagnosed. Because of this, the trees have a very poor appearance and do not add to the attractiveness of the area. They are planted on the homeowner's property and there are no sidewalks or utility lines. Because of the space available, a larger tree would have been more suitable in this location.

1997 Comments:
None of these plants survived at this location. One long-time resident said that the trees were rotted and the city had to take them out.

Zero percent of the overall planting survived (0 of 20 trees).
