Globe Black Locust - Robina pseudoacacia 'Globe'
Toledo Planted: 1964
3727 Tall Oaks Site: Lawn

1971 Comments:
These trees are planted in the homeowner's lawn with no sidewalks present. They are uniform in height and caliper and have a formal globe shape. A larger tree would be more desirable considering the deep setback of the houses.

1997 Comments:
These plants were in lawn-type plantings. None of the original plants survived. The two or three plants here are a result of the scion dying and the stock plant taking over. One resident noted that the original plants had pink flowers on them; now they are white.

Zero percent of the overall planting survived (0 of 20 trees).
1997 data on the table are based on three trees.
