Greenspire Littleleaf Linden - Tilia cordata 'Greenspire'
Cincinnati Planted: 1963
Banks at Lynn Site: 10' Tree Lawn

1971 Comments:
These trees are formal in habit, consistent in size and, as is true in most cultivars, superior to the species. They are growing well under power lines in an area of severe air pollution.

1997 Comments:
The original plants were planted under power lines and some of the adjacent plants in the same planting were not. The plants that are under the power lines are utility pruned and about 10' shorter. Sidewalk disruption in this area has been minor.

One hundred percent of the overall planting survived (16 of 16 trees).
1997 data are based on five trees.
