A small earthquake occurred beneath Lake Erie at 8:30 a.m. EST about 5 km (3 miles) northwest of Mentor-on-the-Lake. Felt reports were received from Mentor-on-the-Lake and Willoughby. No damage was reported. This is the third earthquake this year in this general location. A 2.6 event occurred on January 6 (UTC) and a 2.3 event occurred on January 13.
