A small earthquake occurred beneath Lake Erie about 2.5 km northwest of Ashtabula on April 10, 2006 at 01:55 am Eastern Daylight Time. Small earthquakes occurred near this location on February 27, 2006, December 11, 2005, and in 2000 and 1995. No felt reports have been received.
