A small earthquake occurred at 9:18 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time in Lake County south of Painesville and about five miles south of the Lake Erie shoreline. This location is about 10 miles south of the 3.8-magnitude earthquake on June 20 and is not thought to be an aftershock of that event. Several felt reports were received from the vicinity of Cloverdale Lake, the location of the computed epicenter.
