Installing NI-DAQ 4.9.x Software

Important: Only NI-DAQ 4.9.x software should be installed.

  • From the OhioSeis station software CD Drag and Drop the "Install NI-DAQ 6.1.x/4.9.x" installer application on to the Macintosh Desktop.
     
  • Double Click Installer application.
     
  • When the NI-DAQ window comes up select "Continue."
     
  • Select "Continue" after reading the discliamer.
     
  • When the "Install NI-DAQ 6.1.x/4.9.x" window comes up select "Custom Install."
     
  • Then select "NI-DAQ 4.9.x" and deselect "LabVIEW DAQ VIs update."
     
  • Open "NI-DAQ 4.9.x" items list by clicking the arrow on the left, only the "NI-DAQ 4.9.x Driver" should be selected.
     
  • Make sure the Install Location is "Macintosh HD"
     
  • Click Install
     
  • Restart the computer.
