The ODNR Division of Geological Survey actively seeks donations of geophysical logs for Ohio's oil and gas wells to build and improve its archives. If you would like to donate LAS files from additional wells to this collection, we would be happy to accept them. To donate files please, contact the Geologic Records Center. As we acquire additional files and data from other wells, they will be made available for purchase in paper or digital forms. To purchase geophysical logs, click here.

Many of the LAS files archived at the division are due to the generosity of the Ohio Chapter of the Society of Professional Well Log Analysts (SPWLA) and the Ohio Geological Society. These two professional societies graciously donated the funding necessary to rescue these files from old, 9-track tapes and convert them to the LAS format. We also are grateful to Elite Seismic Processing of Newark, Ohio, for providing the conversion services.
