The Cincinnati Arch Consortium (CAC) is a cooperative research group consisting of the Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio Geological Surveys and funded by industry sponsors. CAC was formed to investigate the rift basin "discovered" by Ohio Survey coring in southwestern Ohio (see Information Circular 56). The initial summary report of CAC, The geology and geophysics of the East Continent Rift Basin, prepared by the three state surveys (Larry H. Wickstrom, James A. Drahovzal, and Brian D. Keith, coordinators), is available from the Indiana Geological Survey as Indiana Geological Survey Open-File Study OFS 92-4. The report has 103 p., 32 figs., 8 tables, 7 appenixes, 23 pls., and 1 diskette. Cost is $120. Order from the Indiana Geological Survey, 611 N.
