COAL THICKNESS AND
OVERBURDEN MAPS
Clear space

These maps are a product of the cooperative Ohio Geological Survey-U.S. Geological Survey Coal Availability program. The map of each coal seam includes point data on coal thickness, coal isopach lines, coal outcrop lines, and 20-to-1 overburden-to-coal thickness lines. The maps are at a scale of 1:24,000 (1 inch equals 2,000 feet) and show the quadrangle outline so they can be overlain on the 7.5-minute quadrangle topographic base. Order by quadrangle name and seam name.
