Clarification to ODNR News Release
Sent April 23, 2009, 5:08 p.m.
The news release was titled "ODNR Announces Statewide Program to Employ Young Ohioans."
News reports should make clear that potential applicants for the new Recovery Conservation Corp (RCC) should contact their local Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) "One-Stop" centers.
From ODJFS Web site:
ODJFS oversees a network of 90 locally operated "One-Stop Centers," http://jfs.ohio.gov/workforce/jobseekers/onestopmap.stm, in 20 workforce areas throughout Ohio. The One-Stops provide free job training and other employment services to Ohioans looking for work. They match job seekers with businesses looking to hire workers, and help laid-off workers learn new skills and find new jobs. For more information, see http://jfs.ohio.gov/workforce/.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
The Ohio Department of Natural Resources ensures a balance between wise use and protection of our natural resources for the benefit of all. Visit the ODNR web site at www.ohiodnr.com.
