12/14/09 Michelle Delong, of Chillicothe, has been named the 2009 Administrative Support Employee of the Year by the ODNR Division of Watercraft.
Chillicothe Resident Receives Employee Of The Year Honors From ODNR Division of Watercraft
COLUMBUS, OH – Michelle Delong, of Chillicothe, has been named the 2009 Administrative Support Employee of the Year by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) Division of Watercraft. She works as a Watercraft Records Specialist 2 in the division’s Registration and Titling Section, which is located at ODNR’s Fountain Square headquarters at 2045 Morse Road in Columbus.
She joined ODNR in 1998 as a natural resources worker and transferred to the Division of Watercraft with a promotion to Watercraft Records Specialist 1. She is a graduate of Circleville High School and The Ohio State University.
The award is presented each year in memory of former Division of Watercraft employee Ralph J. Hawse. It recognizes employees who provide excellent customer service in support of the division’s administrative functions.
The ODNR Division of Watercraft administers Ohio’s recreational boating programs, including watercraft registration and titling services, and provides grants to local communities for enforcement, education and boating access facilities. Division of Watercraft programs are funded by a share of the state motor fuels tax, boating registration and titling fees and a grant from the U.S. Coast Guard.
