ODNR Director to join local volunteers along Little Miami State Scenic River

 
NEWTOWN, OH— The Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) Director Sean Logan will join local families to encourage residents to volunteer for the Ohio Scenic Rivers Program on Thursday, July 1 at 3:30 p.m.
 
Local citizens and groups are the foundation of the Ohio Stream Quality Monitoring Project, which is coordinated by ODNR’s Division of Watercraft. Each year, thousands of individuals, classrooms and organizations take to their local streams to engage in stream quality monitoring for Ohio’s 14 state scenic rivers, including the Little Miami State and National Scenic River.
