Teresa Woodward has been named the 2010 Administrative Support Employee of the Year by the ODNR, Division of Watercraft.
COLUMBUS– Teresa Woodward has been named the 2010 Administrative Support Employee of the Year by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR), Division of Watercraft. Woodward serves as a watercraft registration agent and first joined ODNR in 1993.
Currently residing in Hebron, Woodward is a graduate of Licking County Joint Vocational School and Watkins Memorial High School. She works in the division’s Registration and Titling section located at the ODNR Fountain Square headquarters in Columbus.
In 2010, Ohio had a record preliminary total 421,111 registered watercraft representing more than 200,000 Ohio boat owners.
The award is presented each year in memory of former Division of Watercraft employee Ralph J. Hawse. It recognizes employees who provide excellent customer service in support of the division’s administrative functions.
The ODNR Division of Watercraft administers Ohio’s boating programs. The agency oversees watercraft registration and titling operations, provides funding to local communities for education, enforcement and boating access facilities, educates the public, and enforces boating laws on Ohio’s waterways.
