Andrew Hollenback, of Utica, has been promoted to area supervisor of state boating programs for central Ohio.
COLUMBUS, OH– Andrew Hollenback, of Utica, has been promoted to area supervisor of state boating programs for central Ohio, according to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR), Division of Watercraft.
Hollenback will continue working out of the Division of Watercraft’s Alum Creek Lake office in Delaware County where he has served as a watercraft investigator and officer since he first joined the division in 2000.
In his new position as Alum Creek area supervisor, Hollenback is responsible for coordinating law enforcement, boating education programs and public relations efforts in Franklin, Delaware, Morrow, Knox, Ashland, Richland, Union, Marion, Licking, Fairfield, Perry, Crawford and Wyandot counties. Hollenback also will supervise watercraft agency field operations on waterways that include Alum Creek, Buckeye, Pleasant Hill and Delaware lakes and other inland waterways.
Hollenback is a graduate of Licking Heights High School. He later attended Marietta College and The Ohio State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in parks and recreation tourism.
The ODNR Division of Watercraft administers Ohio’s boating programs. The agency oversees watercraft registration and titling operations, provides funding to local communities for education, enforcement and boating access facilities, educates the public, and enforces boating laws on Ohio’s waterways.
