ALUM CREEK STATE PARK TO AGAIN HOST "FANTASY OF LIGHTS"

DELAWARE, OH – More than 1 million holiday lights will illuminate the night for the eighth annual “Fantasy of Lights” display at Alum Creek State Park in Delaware County. The event runs Friday, November 16 to Sunday, December 30.

The two-mile, drive-through extravaganza features light displays, including many with animation.

Visitors may begin their tour at the Alum Creek Marina - transformed into a holiday gift shop for the season. Santa will be on hand until December 24 to take holiday gift requests and pose for pictures with youngsters. Complimentary cookies and hot chocolate will be served. The marina is accessible from Hollenback Road, off South Old State Road.

Display hours are 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, 5:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The cost to view the display is $10 per vehicle Monday through Thursday and $15 per vehicle Friday through Sunday. Prices increase for commercial vehicles and motor homes.

A portion of the “Fantasy of Lights” admission cost and the $5 fee for pictures with Santa benefit Recreation Unlimited.
