Today JobsOhio’s Chief Investment Officer Mark Kvamme announced that David Mustine will join the company as General Manager for Energy.
COLUMBUS, OH — Today JobsOhio’s Chief Investment Officer Mark Kvamme announced that David Mustine will join the company as General Manager for Energy and focus on helping develop Ohio’s newly-announced oil and gas reserves in Eastern Ohio.
“Oil and gas in Eastern Ohio has the potential to permanently transform that end of the state and position Ohio overall for a renaissance in manufacturing that depends on the low-cost, reliable energy that shale can provide. Given his experience in energy issues and the convening authority that it naturally gives him, David is the perfect choice to lead JobsOhio’s efforts to cultivate this unique opportunity. David will provide the operational and institutional knowledge required of such an economically and environmentally important effort,” said Kvamme.
Mustine’s diverse professional background includes substantive experience in the energy sector, including 16 years with American Electric Power, two years as executive director for Terraseis, a provider of geophysical data acquisition services to international exploration and production companies, and as an Investment Manager in the Energy Division of Bechtel Investments, Inc. in Houston, specializing in oil and gas ventures. He most recently served as Director of the Ohio Department of Natural Resources.
Mustine joins John Minor, General Manager for Banking and Insurance, and Mark Patton, General Manager for Transportation, Logistics and IT at JobsOhio.
