The newly reconstructed Hollenback Road boat launch ramp is now open to boaters on the 3,300-acre Alum Creek Lake in Delaware County.
DELAWARE, OH – The newly reconstructed Hollenback Road boat launch ramp is now open to boaters on the 3,300-acre Alum Creek Lake in Delaware County. The ramp was reopened during the weekend following its closure for construction last October.

The $825,000 reconstruction project was funded through the Waterways Safety Fund, which is comprised of a share of the state motor fuel tax, watercraft registration and titling fees and a grant from the U.S. Coast Guard.

The project includes a new four-lane concrete boat ramp, new boarding docks, shore stabilization and parking and lighting improvements. The facility also is accessible to persons with disabilities.

Work on reconstruction of the New Galena boat ramp is due to be completed in June.
