The Waterways Safety Council welcomes the public to its regular quarterly meeting beginning at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 23.
COLUMBUS, OH – The Waterways Safety Council welcomes the public to its regular quarterly meeting beginning at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 23. The meeting will be held at the Fountain Square administrative headquarters of the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR), located at 2045 Morse Road, Columbus, in Building A.
The five-member citizen advisory council, appointed by Governor John Kasich, provides input on boating issues to ODNR’s Division of Watercraft. Council members are also provided a briefing by the Division of Watercraft on the status of ongoing projects and issues impacting recreational boating in Ohio.
The meeting is open to the public. People interested in attending the council meeting should contact Janet Turner with the Division of Watercraft office at 614-265-6476.
