Andy Hollenback of Utica has been promoted to the position of region manager of state boating programs for central and southern Ohio, according to the ODNR Division of Watercraft.
COLUMBUS, OH – Andy Hollenback of Utica has been promoted to the position of region manager of state boating programs for central and southern Ohio, according to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources’ (ODNR) Division of Watercraft.
Hollenback has served as the area supervisor for the Alum Creek and central Ohio area since 2011, and he previously worked as a state watercraft investigator and patrol officer. A graduate of Cuyahoga Community College and The Ohio State University, Hollenback first joined ODNR as a watercraft officer in 2000.
In his new position as region manager, Hollenback is responsible for coordinating law enforcement, boating education programs and public relations efforts across central and southern Ohio. Hollenback will supervise staffing and operations at ODNR Division of Watercraft area offices located at Alum Creek and in Springfield, Cambridge, Clermont County, Scioto County and Wapakoneta.
The ODNR Division of Watercraft administers Ohio boating programs. The agency oversees watercraft registration and titling services, provides funding to local communities for education, enforcement and boating access facilities, educates the public and enforces state boating laws on Ohio waterways. Additionally, the Division of Watercraft works closely with local, state and federal agencies in providing for public safety through specialized training programs and shared law enforcement assignments.
