Ohio Waterways Safety Council To Meet March 17 In Columbus

COLUMBUS, OH – The Ohio Waterways Safety Council will hold its quarterly meeting in Columbus at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 17 at the Ohio Highway Patrol Academy, 740 E. 17th Avenue, Classroom G.

The five-member citizen advisory council, appointed by the governor, provides input on boating issues to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Watercraft.

The meeting is open to the public. Council members will be briefed on the status of ongoing projects and issues impacting recreational boating in Ohio. Persons interested in attending the council meeting should contact Janet Wolfinger at 614-265-6476.
