The office of the Lake Erie Geology Group, located at 1634 Sycamore Line Road in Sandusky, will close on January 4 as part of ongoing reorganization and cost-saving moves by the Ohio Geological Survey, a division of the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR).

ODNR today awarded its highest honor to four individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the protection and enjoyment of the state's natural resources. The department also presented its annual Cardinal Award for conservation achievement to three distinguished Ohioans.

J. Anthony Logan Named Chief General Counsel |

Director Sean D. Logan today announced the hiring of J. Anthony Logan to serve in the role of Chief General Counsel to the Department. The role of the General Counsel is to serve as the legal advisor to the Director and to provide legal support and guidance to the various divisions and offices within the Department.
