CRITERIA FOR SELECTION

Outstanding work in resource protection during exploration, production or site restoration operations (e.g. sediment control structures, adequate sloping of banks, stockpiling of top soil, proper pit installation, adequate spill prevention, timely reclamation).

Development of innovative waste management, treatment or recycling technologies.

Outstanding performance in construction, maintenance or operation of Class II brine injection facilities.

Exceptional response to oil-field emergencies (e.g. spills, leaks, failures, fires, explosions).

Exceptional efforts by a landowner to facilitate remediation or corrective action.

Outstanding work in well plugging and abandonment.

Outstanding contributions to industry-community relations or public education.
